Garage in Karachi Makes a Stunning Restoration of Fatima Jinnah’s 1955 Cadillac Convertible
A Karachi-based workshop called Ikram Motor Works has managed to restore a gorgeous 1955 Cadillac series 62 convertible which was owned by Fatima Jinnah. The restoration process took around 2 years to complete, at a cost of Rs. 15 million, and was done in seven different phases. The workers did mechanical work, denting and painting, electrical work, and design work while trying their best to keep the original parts in place. The convertible was restored to be displayed at the National Museum of Karachi.
Good work, few lighting images felt like James bond car show room.
Amazing work
i am not expecting that from Pakistan…
no words…
amazing…
amazing for pakistan like i was not expecting something like this from pakistan
I know the guy who was temporary driver of Ms. Fatima Jinnah.
If this is not a disrespect to honorable lady, her driver was not paid on regular basis. Whenever he demanded salary he was locked in a garage.
lol. its a funny story. didn’t know the naughty side of Ms Fatima Jinnah :D
I know the guy who is your permanent psychiatrist treating your insanity.
Do you have any proof? History written by the people who were not there. LOL!
And I know a guy whose fart eradicated the dinosaurs. The guy lit a cigarette while doing it and boom went the dynamite.
It’s a ridiculous story but it’s no truer than yours.
Good WOrk… Amazing……
amazing dedication. awesome results. meanwhile an award thumb to government for not taking care of precious belongings of our REAL leaders.
Can’t resist myself to comment here. Amazing work!

That’s why I always proud to be a Pakistan.
Thumbs Up!!!!!!
Superb
hats off to this group.brilliant work.
We have been told in our history books that so called founders of this country were poor people. But what is schocking for me that Mr Jinnah adopted three luxury aircrafts and more than a dozen luxury vehicles. Mr Jinnah ordered to use aircrafts and cars despite the cash crunch:
He awarded Fatima Jinnah the fleet of luxury cars as well. This car is one from that fleet given by British and ultimately the family and friends of Mr Jinnah used those cars and resources.
So my question is that weather even the so called founding fathers were corrupt and they were using Public resources for Private purposes?. Why Mr Jinnah was using a fleet of Luxury planes and cars when Country was almost bankrupt.?
I dont know who told you Qaid was poor, he was from a business family and a top drawer lawyer and earned his money the right way, Can you share your sources with everyone so they can become more educated on this matter.
For your information he appointed his salary to 1 Rupee per month when he became Governer General of Pakistan.
No where in any history books that i studied in school did it say that Jinnah was a poor person.
He gave us a home to live respectfully and let others live respectfully.Did we realize is the main question to day.
Please ignore him, he is a paid agent and gets salary for posting against Pakistan.
@sami you are PATWARi
Share the sources. Blaming is so easy and it is had to proof something. Sibzz says right, Quaid was a rich barrister. You should feel ashamed of talking like this about the person who devoted his life to make a country for Muslims where you and me can breathe easily with freedom.
@sami who know that he is pakistani….
Sami you are a cunning neech, achoot halkat Jati Hinduvata suwar Brahman baniya & you cannot stop barking like a Hindu Rabid Dog against Pakistan because your saffron shithole need burnol to be applied to cool it off LOL
Unbelievable and amazing hard work, presenting tribute to legends.
Unbelievable and amazing hard work, presenting tribute to legends.
They need a lot of praise….
But ideally government should take such steps.
Alhumdulillah Pakistanis do care about their true leaders. JazakAllah
That is great effort to restore the remains of the Quaide Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah, the great leader who gave us a respecting home.
