Toyota Rush has already been in the rumors for quite some time. However, it has now been officially launched in Pakistan by Indus Motors Company at an exclusive launch event, today.
The Toyota Rush is a mini-SUV. It used to be called the Daihatsu Terios back in 2010, but got renamed later by Toyota. During the years, it has undergone several design changes. In Pakistan, it will come in three variants, all powered by the same 1500cc EURO 2 engine with two different transmission options of either 5-speed manual or 4-speed automatic.
The three variants are called G/MT, G/AT, and S/AT, with the latter being the higher-end one. Its engine produces 136 nm torque and 104 bhp of horsepower. All in all, most of the internal features are the same between the variants other than transmission options, some chrome ornaments, and other advanced tech.

vitara is better option
Rush is a competitor of BRV in other markets. It’s price is also close to the BRV in other markets. Not sure why they decided to launch it as a “SUV” here with that insane price tag.
It’s a 1500cc MPV same as BRV. The power is a lot less than BRV.
Someone has to be quite stupid to buy this kind of specs for this kind of money.
There’s an abundance of these stupid people here,,,
brv kaab se suv ho gaye?
jab sey Rush SUV bun gaye
Compare dimension and weight. Rush is smaller than a BRV
According to Phillipine reviewer of Rush. Rush cannot overtake at 100kph on the highway. It’s underpowered.
….and BRV remains the winner. No one with an ounce of common sense will prefer Rush with a 14 lac upmark.
They already have “Avanza” in this price range with same 1500 cc engine and simmilar specs, and that car is not a success… now launching another car with vitara price tag, and BRV specs, who is going to buy a BRV giving 14 lac more… really stupid move by Toyota… they don’t know what to do… honda has played very sensibly.
An overpriced vehicle. How can it compete with BR-V with this exorbitant price? Nothing special in interior. No cruise control. More that 1.2 Million difference from BR-V.
