Ufone Introduces Special Roaming Tariffs for Hajj Pilgrims

Ufone has launched a new offer for pilgrims leaving for Hajj, under which Ufone Prepaid customers will be able to use their Ufone SIM in Saudi Arabia at lowest call rates, thus completely alleviating the hassle of buying a local Saudi Arabian SIM card.

Prepaid roamers who select Saudi Arabia’s Mobily and Zain networks will be charged at a minimal rate for outgoing calls to Pakistan and within Saudi Arabiaas well as on all incoming calls.

Additionally, incoming SMS from all over the world will be free of any charges. The offer is automatically activated on all Ufone prepaid numbers free of charge.

Moreover customers can take along a scratch card or ask their friends and family back home to perform Uload.

Here are Tariff Details:

  • Outgoing Calls to Pakistan and Saudi Arabia: Rs. 0.30/second (inclusive of tax)
  • Incoming calls from anywhere in the world: Rs. 0.48 per second
  • Per second charging is only applicable for outgoing calls to Saudi Arabia & Pakistan only. For other destinations standard IR tariff will be charged.
  • Incoming SMS: Free
  • Charges for other services will be charged as per standard IR tariff
  • User have to be on Mobily or Zain Network in Saudi Arabia to avail these rates
