The Islamabad Electric Supply Company (IESCO) has announced a scheduled power outage in several areas of Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Attock and Chakwal for Tuesday to carry out routine maintenance and development work.
According to an IESCO spokesperson, the company will suspend electricity supply from 6:00 am to 10:00 am in Islamabad Circle, affecting Scheme II, Rehara, Mohra Noor, Shehzad Town and Islamabad Club I feeders.
In Rawalpindi Cantt Circle, IESCO will disconnect power to Jarar Camp, Bhall, Jatha Hathial and Basali feeders during the same hours. The company will also suspend electricity supply from 6:00 am to 10:00 am to Fawara Chowk feeder in Attock Circle and Abdullah Pur, Jalal Pur, Sagharpur, CWO and Katchary feeders in Chakwal Circle.
In GSO Circle, IESCO will carry out maintenance work from 6:30 am to 10:30 am on Neela, Hassal, Balkassar, Kot Chaudhrian, Pipli, Dullaha and Karsal. The company will also undertake work from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm on the 132kV AWC HMC Taxila and 132kV Sangjani Burhan lines, and from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on the 132kV Chakwal Bhagwal Talagang, 132kV Kahuta City Palandri and 132kV New Wah Bahtermore lines, along with the related earth switches and surrounding areas.
IESCO apologized for the temporary inconvenience and said it will restore electricity before the scheduled time if maintenance work finishes earlier than expected.
