Don’t feel singled out as Facebook was down for everyone, literally everyone in the world for over 30 minutes, making it one of the major down-times for the website for the year.
But its back now.

And Facebook is back after almost 45 minutes of down-time.

While we know that it gonna hit back any moment now, but until its down — for good for some — it won’t be a bad idea to do some thing that you used to do during pre-facebook era, such as some productive work, calling a friend, watching TV or probably playing luddu.
We currently have no confirmed information about the reasons that took Facebook down, however, Gizmodo is reporting that Facebook IPs are receiving gigantic DoS attacks from with-in US and from Brazil and China.
Just in case if you aren’t familiar, DoS attacks is a term used when hundreds of thousands of computers send junk requests to an IP to keep the services running on it unavailable for legitimate requests, causing a down-time for legitimate users.
Instagram is down too, and Facebook is to be blamed for this.
