PlanX To Hold A Demo Day On 11th November, 2015

PlanX is set to launch yet another Demo Day this year during the second week of November. The target audience and the ones who’ll be most interested to hear about it are of course start-ups, young entrepreneurs, investors and business people.

What is Demo Day?

Demo Day is a platform for Pakistani start-ups to showcase their achievements, plans and talent by detailing their future and current products and services. It is also an opportunity for young and upcoming business minded people to meet with the industry’s biggest names from investors and mentors to potential investors or clients. The previous Demo Day featured more than 100 start-ups and over 500 visitors so expect to see many more this time around.

Each start-up will be provided a table and two chairs in a small space of 20 sq. feet (4ftx5ft) to set up their stalls for showcasing their products.

When and Where Will It Be Held?

PlanX will be held at the Arfa Software Technology Park in Lahore on the 11th of November 2015. The event is scheduled to begin at 11 in the morning and continue up until 6PM. The agenda will include pitching, networking and speaker sessions throughout the day.

How Do I Participate?

Anyone interested in participating can simply fill out the application form here to apply. Shortlisted and selected candidates will receive an email confirming their participation in the event. The last date for applications is 7th November 2015.

Visitors can fill out the form from here to register their entry. Both, participation in the event and registration for visiting is free. Students can come and show off their products free of cost. Participation did cost Rs 10,000 for corporate stalls the last time the event was organised but it’s free this time around.
