QMobile Announces X700 Pro Lite and Pro II Budget Smartphones for Under Rs. 10k

QMobile has recently launched their latest offerings in the budget smartphone department. The Noir X700 Pro II and X700 Pro Lite.

Both phones are available at a ‘below Rs. 10,000’ price point, making them perfect for the budget crowd.

QMobile X700 Pro II is available for Rs. 9,990 while the X700 Pro Lite is available for Rs. 8,900.

Design and Display

The X700 Pro II features a kevlar (used in bullet proof jackets) back and a peculiar ring-like design near the camera and the flash on the back. The kevlar increases the grip which makes the phone less slippery in your hands (unlike phones with a metal back).

On the front, the Pro II has capacitive touch buttons below the screen. This feature is shared by the X700 Pro Lite which also has capacitive touch buttons at the bottom.

The two phones are largely similar in terms of display. Both feature a 5 inch IPS LCD display at 854 x 480 resolution. There is no difference between them in terms of screen quality.

Internals and Storage

QMobile X700 Pro II and Pro Lite feature a quad-core Mediatek MT 6580 processor at 1.3 GHz. X700 Pro II has 2 GB RAM while the Pro Lite has 1 GB of RAM.

As for the storage capacity, the Pro II has 16 GB of internal storage while the Pro Lite has 8 GB of internal storage.

Both phones have a microSD card slot and support cards of up to 64 GB in size.

Camera and Battery

Both of the phones have a 5 MP back camera with an LED flash and a 5MP front camera. The back camera on the phones can record video at up to 1080p (1920 x 1080) @30 fps.

The front camera on the phones feature a face beauty mode which removes imperfections and flaws from your face when you take a selfie.

The batteries are also same on the two phones with a 2,000 mAh unit on them. They don’t feature fast charging and should take up to 2-3 hours to charge fully.
