This year has been a fantastic year for Honda. On top of the launch of their newest model, the company is also celebrating its 40th anniversary this year, a remarkable achievement.
Honda Accord, that launched in Pakistan in 2005, has introduced the latest Accord model which ensures a ‘Ride To The Future.’
The Honda Altas Cars Limited in Pakistan officially released the all-new Honda Accord in an event. The latest model of the car is the 9th generation of the Accord family, which brings a refreshing change to the world of premium cars. Like the Toyota Camry, the latest model is synonymous with ‘midsize sedan.’
Design
Honda experts have improved the overall Accord style and given it a more fierce look. The refined styling in the front and the back is completely different from the previous entries in the Accord family.
The tail lights are also redesigned to freshen things up and to make a bold statement. The front is also equipped with LED fog lights which help in low-visibility situations. Overall, the rest of the build is extremely solid and the changes only add to Accord’s reputation.
Interior
The Accord is luxuriously appointed with updated accents and innovative technology. Famous for its build quality, Honda has not disappointed with Accord 2016.
The leather-trimmed seats offer a very sophisticated and a luxurious feel. The driver’s seat is a 10-way power’s seat, which implies that it can be adjusted in 10 different ways to help the customers.
Accord now follows the trend of power button start, making it much more appealing. It is also equipped with Road Departure Mitigation System (RDM), a small camera which identifies and alerts the users regarding common safety markers like dividers and pavement markers.
Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS) and Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) is also provided in the latest model.
The dashboard is equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, allowing customers access smartphone features on Display Audio touch-screen. Music can be accessed through Display Audio with HondaLink. Lastly, it is also equipped with Speed-Sensitive Volume Control (SVC).
Engine and Performance
Under the hood, the car possess a a 2.4-liter DOHC i-VTEC engine with 4-cylinder and 16-valve that provides 175 horsepower at 6,200 rpm.
The engine provides outstanding performance at any engine speed.
One great addition to the Accord 2016 is the Eco Assist. Pressing the ECON button will enable the engine to adjust fuel-consuming systems for better efficiency.
The green bar on either side of the speedometer will let the driver know how efficiently he or she is driving.

Price and Colors
Honda have authorized bookings for the new Accord 2016 to commerce from December 17, 2016.
The suggested retail price is Rs 11.25 million with 2-year or 50,000 km warranty.
The Accord is available in five colors; white orchid pearl, modern steel metallic, lunar silver metallic, crystal black pearl, and brilliant sporty blue.

Is it expensive than Prado ?
I strongly disagree this might be the price. I own one Honda Accord 2016 (which came in the end of 2015) in around Rs.3.3 million (after conversion in PK ruppee).
They are launching 2016 model when 2017 is about to start? seriously? Outside Pakistan 2016 which is now an old model will be sold in much less price tag.
The one you”re talking about is 2015 import and not 2015 model, as yours is 7th generation, while this is 9th generation accord and was available to book since late 2015, its ProPakistani that just posted this now.
Still disagree about price, go check out prices at Honda Atlas website, it was for 10 million in 2015 late, now close to 11 million booking price.
No it isnt, If you are buying Prado brand new then it starts at 12 Million. If you are buying import then it can be had from 7.5 million onwards

Propakistani should pictured the car with pakistani interior with the steering wheel on the other side.

This model is already launched in UAE in 2014 & the price is still less than 3 million
