Shaheen Air Rebrands & Adds Airbus A319 to Fleet

With an aim to rebrand itself, Shaheen Air has unveiled a new logo and added the Airbus A319 to its fleet, which will mark a milestone in the company’s history.

The Airbus A319 is a commercial passenger twin-engine jet manufactured by Airbus. It is one of the most popular aircraft in the A320 family and is usually operated by governments and as an executive private jet as well. To highlight its popularity, there are currently 1,441 Airbus A319 aircraft which are in service with 106 operators across the world.

There are four variants of A319; A319CJ, A319neo, A319 MPA, A319 LR but Shaheen Air hasn’t yet disclosed which model of the plane it has acquired.

Highlighting the shift in company’s ambitions and goals, a press release released by Shaheen Air read:

The refreshed brand identity builds on the philosophy of Shaheen. It goes beyond the aspect of a logo’s evolution to deliver the highest standards of service, punctuality, and reliability, marked by genuine hospitality from the company’s passionate people.

It also extols the carrier’s dream to spread its wings and be a force for good through value creation that sustainably connects and enriches the world.

In recent times, the reputation of Pakistan International Airline (PIA) has taken a severe beating. So the space is open for Shaheen Air to capitalize on the opportunity and provide customers with a superior experience, hence gaining market share. It seems like the company is doing just that.

  • Shaheen air has improved their services significantly. I have fly with them and can easily compare their services and comfort which they provide to their passengers with Emirates. No idea about domestic flights.

  • ‘Shaheen Air hasn’t yet disclosed which model of the plane it has acquired.’
You could’ve used some common sense, the Neo version is the newest model, so it’s obviously not that. Next one, the LR? It doesn’t say LR, so it’s not an LR. The A319CJ? It’s a commercial airliner, CJ stands for Corporate Jet, so it’s obviously not that either. A319 MPA? Really? Shaheen Air operating a Maritime Patrol Aircraft? Good job with the research ProPK.

Checking the tail number would really help out next time. FYI It’s an almost 12 year old Turkish retired standard A319 jet.
