The Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has approved several development projects worth billions of rupees across the country.
The approval was given at a meeting in Islamabad on Tuesday with Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal in the chair.
The projects include Rs. 80 billion Khichi Canal project, Rs. one billion for revised project of Mohmand dam, Rs. 440 million for twenty small dams in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The meeting also approved revised feasibility study for Muzaffarabad Rail link of Rs. 125 million, Transport Infrastructure Planning and Management Unit costing Rs. 200 million.
The meeting also approved the position paper of 233 billion rupees Chashma Power Plant-III and IV.
The CDWP recommended the construction of high tech agriculture center in Agriculture University Faisalabad.
The meeting also approved the project for increasing strength of children in schools and provision of quality education in Balochistan.
