The famous “flagship killer” is back, and this time in black. OnePlus 3T’s new “Midnight Black” color is now available in international markets.
The phone will be available in the 128 GB version only for $479. However, there’s no word on its availability in Pakistan but we can expect many retailers to update their listings very soon.
Apparently the design process behind the Black OnePlus 3T wasn’t as straightforward or easy as you would think. They even made a design video to explain the design challenges in producing a black OnePlus 3T.
Most of the specifications on this model are the same as the OnePlus 3. The 3T has a 5.5 inch 1080p (1920 x 1080) Super AMOLED screen with an all metal build and a fingerprint sensor on the front.
Powering the insides is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC, clocked in at 2.35 GHz. OnePlus 3T comes with a big 6 GB of RAM. Unfortunately storage options are limited at 64 GB and 128 GB respectively with no microSD card slot.
The back camera employs a 16 MP Sony IMX 298 sensor (same as Xiaomi Mi5 and Huawei Mate 8). It also features Optical Image Stabilization for all your shaky videos. On the front you get another 16 MP shooter compared with an 8MP found on the regular OnePlus 3.
For the battery unit OnePlus used a slightly larger 3,400 mAh unit for the 3T compared with a 3,000 mAh used in the regular version. Dash Charging is also available, it can charge a OnePlus 3 from 0 to 60% in just 30 minutes.
