Telenor Pakistan, in collaboration with AbacusConsulting, has launched an API management solution for developers, said a press statement issued by the company.
The Go-Live ceremony of API Gateway Project was held at Telenor Headquarters, Islamabad where Managing Director of AbacusConsulting Mr. Abbas Ali Khan and CEO of Telenor Pakistan Mr. Irfan Wahab Khan were present along with the leadership of both sides.
API Gateway Project has enabled Telenor Pakistan to launch its own portal for a developer community and/or connect with the existing ecosystem to manage, share and promote its APIs in a secure and scalable environment.
Company said that Telenor’s recent launch of Direct Carrier Billing for Google Play purchases was only made possible through its API integration with Google.
Telenor’s CEO, Irfan Wahab Khan, while commenting on this said that developers can work directly with Telenor and expand their reach to a massive pool of subscribers and consumers. “They can benefit from our apps which will drive higher performance, better security and easier billing from operator services”, he added.
Currently the APIs that Telenor offer to developers include balance inquiry, SMS operations, app monetization through carrier billing and others.
Anyone can register with Telenor’s Developer portal and start using its APIs.

Also Portal has certain vulnrabilities, it is developed in Php.
Being developed in PHP doesn’t mean it’s vulnerable. Vulnerabilities can be present on any platform.
P.S.I’m not ruling out the possibility of vulnerabilities.
Php can be made as secure as any other language, but it took me hardly 1 minute to know it is build in Php.

Hackers are not interested in low profile time wasting efforts.

Moreover it’s developed over Drupal, which is developed over Symfony framework, so much of it is secure within itself, possibilities may exist but very low.
You can further google it by searching vulnerabilities of Php , vulnerabilities or Durpal, vulnerabilities of Symfony framework.

This company was great until the Pakistani people took its leadership… now its only a place to favor friends and family….
