After the launch of Uber in Islamabad and Rawalpindi, the company received an overwhelming response. Now, the company is expanding its services to Hyderabad.
This marks the fifth city in which Uber has started operations. The service is already live in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
“The feedback we have received from our riders in Karachi and Lahore has been phenomenal and our local team is all geared up to expand our reach to more people across the country, and we are thankful to the Islamabad government for closely working with us,” said the regional head of the ride-hailing service.
Uber Middle East and Africa Anthony Head Le Roux said:
Pakistan is one of the most important markets in the region for us at Uber and we believe that there is huge potential for growth in Pakistan.
To promote the launch of the service in the region, Uber is offering Rs. 500 worth of free credit to riders in Hyderabad when it launches.
In order stand a chance of winning the discount, users in Hyderabad need to follow these steps:
- Log on to your Facebook
- Visit Uber’s official page
- Guess the date when Uber is launching in Hyderabad.
Note: Only 10 participants will win the discount. So hurry up!
You have used the pic of a monument from Indian city of Hyderabad.
Now changed after my comment
Yes. Thank you for the correction.
Good. But I heard that their were some issues between uber, careem and the govt regarding taxation or something, What happened to that ?
instead of launching in other cites, UBER should improve his pathetic service and cars.
Improves??? They have neat and clean cars
what to do with clean cars if AC is not working, captain receive calls during driving and using bad language, chewing gutka mostly. upon asking why AC is not working each captain has his own story.
1) bhai UBER mai to aisi hi cars hain.
2) cultus mai AC chalta hi kahan hay
3) kal hi 2000rs kharcha kiya hay
