Gerry’s DNATA Inaugurates its First Marhaba Lounge in Pakistan

A special premier lounge for business class passengers was today inaugurated at Jinnah terminal of Karachi International Airport.

This special lounge is part of Marhaba Lounge network that is a subsidiary of Emirates group. A statement issued said that Marhaba Lounge in Karachi will be operated by Gerry’s DNATA.

Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair and President DNATA Gary Chapman jointly inaugurated the Marhaba lounge at international departure Terminal of Karachi Airport.

This lounge will serve business class passengers of Emirates Airline.

Information shared with ProPakistani revealed that Marhaba lounge is capable of handling more than 100 passengers at one time. Initially the lounge will be exclusively available to Emirates business class passengers only.

It must be mentioned here that Emirates currently operate 5 daily flights from Karachi-Dubai route.

While briefing about Marhaba lounge, Vice President for Gerrys DNATA Pakistan, Syed Haris Raza told ProPakistani that this is first of its kind facility in Pakistan. He said that lounge is developed while keeping all sorts of audience in mind. “Special feature of this premium lounge is kids play area”, he shared.

Other facilities included 24 hours services, free Wi-Fi , all day dining, business area, relaxation zone, separate prayers area for men and women.

Smoking area is also available in the lounge.
