National Telecommunication Corporation reported a net profit of Rs. 400 million for year ending June 30th 2017, said a statement issued by the company.
This was revealed during a Director General Conference that was held at NTC HQs today (July 25th). During the meetup, financial health, goals and achievements of NTC were reviewed.
Brig (R) Viqar Rashid Khan, Managing Director NTC chaired the Conference while DG (Finance) presented financial review.
NTC said that increase in profitability is achieved mainly through diversification of revenue through public private partnership, Implementation of ADP projects and growth in data services all over the country.
Progress of Development works and ongoing operational activities of the Corporation were also presented by respective DG’s.
MD expressed his satisfaction over the achievements made by NTC and hoped that NTC will strive to provide good quality services from its platform to NTC Valued Customers.
It was noted that NTC subscriber base is increasing, particularly significant growth is seen in Broadband Services.
MD NTC appreciated efforts of DG (Tech), Mr. Miraj Gul and his team for achieving 100% of its ADP projects in time which is a record in Public Sector.
