Everyone from all over the world is somewhat of a foodie. Trying out every restaurant, finding out the cuisines that tingle your taste buds, but what foodies despise the most is waiting in line to grab a seat. It gets really annoying having to stand in there for hours.
Google has now launched a new feature that shows the “wait time” of various restaurants which will save you the trouble of waiting in line.
It’s been a while since Google added in a “popular time” feature for assorted businesses. For example, back in summer 2015, it began to show days of the week and times of the day for local businesses by charts appearing in the business listing.
On Tuesday, Google announced in a blog post that the popular times feature for restaurants will analyze and display wait times at sit-down restaurants, which would help you know which place will seat you post-haste and which ones would be crowded.
According to the company, the feature is coming soon on Google Search with Google Maps and Android to follow.
Google foresees the wait times feature going global to millions of restaurants after the update launches.

The feature will be active starting today, and once live, you’ll be able to see the times in the restaurant listings on cell phones and desktop. After hitting Google Maps and Android, it will enlarge its wait time list by including grocery stores, says the company.
