Sleeping through the nights peacefully, ever wondered if we even could thank these heroes once?
Commemorating Defence Day, many wonderful patriotic acts were spotted in the media by people all over the country. Like every year, brands seized the opportunity and came forward in their own style; parades taking place all over Pakistan.
But how about some individual love and attention to them?
Likewise, Pakistan’s on-demand food delivery service, foodpanda, decided to do it more personally this time. Their team was spotted on the streets yesterday distributing lovely pink boxes amongst the soldiers and forces crews. And we could see nothing but heartfelt smiles on the faces!
The pink boxes were especially prepared and distributed to remind that it’s great to remember all those who lost their lives to save us but it is equally important to keep the current serving ones motivated too. Army, navy, rangers, police, traffic police – all these forces were approached on duty and it was a happy moment to see those faces lit up after receiving these gift boxes.
This generous act was a unique way to remind these brave hearts that they are never forgotten while protecting us day and night sacrificing their lives and family time. Therefore, a little note of encouragement is all we need to keep them motivated towards the work they can do. And we hope to see the everlasting bonding of Pakistan’s army and its people through more meaningful gestures.
