Mission Parwaaz on Halt: Fakhr-e-Alam Seeks Help After Being Detained in Russia

Mission Parwaaz has remained the talk of the town for past few days. However, its aspirer, Fakhr-e-Alam seems to have come across a hurdle as he has been detained at the Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk airport, Russia.

The noted celebrity apparently approached Faysal Qureshi, another TV celebrity, seeking help. As per the details, the Russian authorities have detained Fakhr-e-Alam over his expired visa.

A recent tweet by Faysal Qureshi, which he has done on Alam’s behalf, has been retweeted by many people, asking the high-ups like Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi and the Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry to get Alam out of this situation.

According to the tweet, Alam got detained at the Russian airport and the authorities are forcing him to return to Pakistan. But this cannot happen, as Alam entered Japan via a single-entry visa.

Alam also said that he did not want to give up Mission Parwaaz and needed Pakistan’s support to continue the mission.

Earlier this month, the 46-year old celebrity started this distinct journey, called Mission Parwaaz, to circumnavigate the globe and become the first Pakistani to do so with less than 100 hours of flying experience.
