Punjab Govt Employees to Get Early Salary

Punjab government has announced it will releases salaries for the current month on 29^th of November.

The pensions for the retired employees will also be released on the same dates, a notification issued on Wednesday stated.

Each month the government employees get their salaries on the first or the second of the month, but this time 1^st and 2^nd of December will fall on the weekend.

The government has therefore decided to release salaries and pensions in the last of November rather than keeping the employees waiting.

Accountant General Punjab has informed all the district account officers via a notification.

A similar announcement might come from the federal government, but so far there has been no words from the federation.
