The National Bank of Pakistan (NBP) will jointly work with Bank Aljazira for increasing remittances from Saudi Arabia through legal channels. The development is significant given the huge number of Pakistani expatriates that work in KSA, who face issues in transferring money to their families.
According to the NBP sources on Wednesday, the matters for transfer of money of Pakistanis working in Saudi Arabia, have been finalized between the both institutions in a meeting.
The NBP and Bank Aljazira delegations discussed about the remittances through legal banking channels.
It is pertinent to mention here that the NBP has been playing a key role in the transfer of money via remittances through its more than 1500 branches across the country.
