Xiaomi Launches Huami Amazfit Cor 2 Smartband With NFC and Heart Rate Monitor

Xiaomi is known as the king of fitness trackers since they’ve launched quite a few of them that have been well received by consumers and also gotten some good reviews. Their best one being the Mi Band 3.

However, Xiaomi’s sub-brand Huami also releases a few products under the Chinese tech giant’s name, with Amazfit being one of those products. The original Amazfit Cor was launched last year and just yesterday, Huami has now launched the next model, the Amazfit Cor 2 in China.

Amazfit Cor 2

The Cor 2 comes with a 1.23-inch LCD display and a 2.5D curved glass on top. The body is made out of polycarbonate, so it’s pretty much in line with other budget trackers from the company. It also comes with 5ATM water-resistance rating.

It has a photoelectric heart rate monitor, an accelerometer, and it also has NFC for contactless payment, supporting 163 city bus cards and 6 transport cards in China.

Moreover, the Cor 2 will also notify the user about incoming calls or SMS or whichever application you can get notifications for. The 1.23-inch display also displays up to seven days of the weather forecast and any kind of alarms, timers or stopwatches you have set.

The Cor 2 has a 160mAh battery that Huami claims will manage up to 20 days of battery life.

Availability

The Cor 2 was made available for sale yesterday in China for a price tag of CNY 299 (~PKR 6,200). There’s no word right now on whether the Huami Cor 2 will make its way into Pakistan.
