Twitter has suspended the official account of Chief Minister Punjab Usman Buzdar’s spokesman Dr. Shahbaz Gill.
Gill, who has been active on the social media platforms, often encountering the bombardment of fake news on social media, says he has not been informed about the ‘policy violation’ which prompted Twitter to outright ban him from the social media site.
The official handle of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf (PTI) has an explanation from Twitter over the issue.
It asks Twitter to clarify the policy violation and requests the media giant to lift the suspension immediately.
The Tweet says: “@Twitter – Dr Shahbaz Gill – Official spokesperson of Chief Minister Punjab @UsmanAKBuzdar ,.” his account has been suspended when there was NO violation of any Twitter policy or rules. Would request twitter to look into it and lift the suspension immediately. @verified.”
