PCB Increases Pension for Retired Cricketers Including Imran Khan, Shafqat Rana

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to increase the pensions by 20% for 48 former Test cricketers.

Prime Minister Imran Khan and his first cousin, Majid Khan, will now both be paid Rs. 48,000 per month whereas Aijaz Butt and Shafqat Rana are to receive Rs. 42,000.

PCB has allocated a total Rs. 1.9 million for the 48 former cricketers. This means that, on average, each player will get Rs. 39,500.

However, some former players will have more pension due to their age, experience and other relating factors.
