Raheel Sharif Led Islamic Military Coalition Visits Pakistan for the First Time

The delegation of Islamic Military Counter Terrorism Coalition (IMCTC), led by the former army chief of Pakistan, General (r) Raheel Sharif, is visiting Pakistan for the first time.

As per the details, the delegates of the coalition will meet the top civil and military leadership in this two-day visit. Ex-army chief General Sharif will meet Prime Minister Imran Khan.

The delegation shall also meet Army Chief General Qamar Javed Bajwa, Senate Chairman Sadiq Sanjrani, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, and other top dignitaries.

Reportedly, the visit’s focus will be on the regional situation and the counter-terrorism measures taken by the coalition.

The delegation is expected to discuss the upcoming visit of Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman to Pakistan.

It needs to be noted here that IMCTC is a 41-nation coalition that was formed to tackle terrorism in the Muslim world.
