Pakistan Post has launched a Franchise Initiative in collaboration with the National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA).
Under the initiative, Pakistan Post will establish its franchises in more than 15o e-Sahulat outlets across the country.
These franchises will enable people to avail Pakistan Post’s services including electronic money orders, government to public payments, i.e., Benazir Income Support Programme, or from the public to the government at thousands of outlets spread all over the country.
Federal Minister for Communications and Postal Services Murad Saeed inaugurated the franchise initiative on Friday.
During his address, he said the initiative is aimed at increasing Pakistan Post’s efforts to cater to digital consumers.
Murad Saeed was confident that the franchise model will prove profitable and will facilitate expansion and accessibility without incurring a major cost. He said the idea will also make the business financially attractive.
Speaking on the occasion, Director-General Pakistan Post Dr. Naseer Ahmed Khan vowed that he will leave no stone unturned to ensure the success of the initiative. He hoped that the program will help turn the organization into a self-sustaining and profitable venture.
