Following Sri Lanka, South Africa have also announced their 15-member squad for the World Cup 2019.
The regular ODI captain, Faf du Plessis will captain the Proteas at the mega event. The team looks well-balanced with top quality batsmen, fast bowlers, and spinners.
Here’s the squad:
| Faf du Plessis (c) | Quinton de Kock (wk) | Amla, Markram | Amla, Markram |
| Rassie van der Dussen | David Miller | JP Duminy | Dwayne Pretorius |
| Andile Phehlukwayo | Dale Steyn | Kagiso Rabada | Lungi Ngidi |
| Anrich Nortje | Imran Tahir | Tabraiz Shamsi |
Anrich Nortje and Lungi Ngidi, who missed out the IPL due to injuries have also made it to the squad. Dale Steyn will feature in his last World Cup, most probably.
