Pakistan’s premier off-spinner, Sana Mir, has made Pakistan proud by registering her name in the list of all-time greats in women cricket. She now holds the record for most wickets in ODIs by a spinner.
The 33-year-old took a solitary wicket in the final ODI against South Africa women on Sunday to go past Anisa Mohammed’s record of 146 wickets. Sana had earlier equaled the record in the second ODI.

She has a career average of 24.34 and economy of 3.68 with a best of 5/32.
The veteran cricketer is now placed at 3rd spot in the list of most wickets in ODIs ever, behind fast bowlers Cathryn Lorraine Fitzpatrick (180) and Jhulan Goswami (218).

The 3rd ODI produced a scintillating run-chase for Pakistan women as Aliya Riaz starred with the bat, scoring 71 from 82 to tie the home team’s score of 265.
