Radical Changes Proposed for PSL 10
The PCB has proposed several changes to make PSL 10 more competitive and globally appealing:
- Higher Salaries for Players: The PCB plans to offer marquee players contracts worth up to $400,000, nearly double the current platinum category salaries. This is aimed at attracting top international talent despite the IPL clash.
- Draft After IPL Auction: To ensure clarity on player availability, the PSL draft may take place after the IPL auction, allowing franchises to pick from a pool of unsold IPL players.
