On this day 32 years ago, a child was born in Karachi and little did anyone know that he would go on to win the first Champions Trophy for Pakistan. It was Sarfaraz Ahmed, who made his mark in cricket with his captaincy at whatever stage he led his side.

Pakistan captain has already won an Under 19 World Cup, Champions Trophy and a Pakistan Super League title for Quetta Gladiators with his dynamic leadership.

He is currently the captain for Pakistan across all formats and Pakistan has been the number one ranked T20I team for quite some time now under his leadership.
