According to media reports, Cricket Australia is mulling over playing a T20 match in Karachi where the team is likely to stay for a very short period during the country’s tour of the UAE.
Australia’s away series is scheduled in the UAE against Pakistan in 2021. According to the details, the team will fly in and out of Pakistan on the same night, taking a 90-minute flight just before the match. The team will head back to Dubai immediately after playing the match.
Earlier, there were reports of officials from Cricket Australia visiting Pakistan after the World Cup. The final decision can be expected after the visit.
If it does happen, it will be a huge boost for Pakistan cricket, however, PCB would be hoping for a full-fledged series against the Aussies on home soil.
