China showed how it is done. They brought at least 70o million people out of poverty over 30 years.

He said that this initiative is expected to change the mindset of the people and help them uplift their condition.

“We are giving interest-free loans to 82,000 people today. In sha Allah, we will empower the weak segment of society,” the premier said.

  • There is a difference between communist and a federal socialist republic. If IK wants to follow China, is he thinking of himself as a leader for 10 more years? Bringing people out of poverty is impossible with out wiping out corruption.

  • sounds less like chinese model & more like bhutto’s “roti kapra or makan” rhetoric. pay the poor to stay poor…
