Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani Wednesday discussed different issues to further cement the bilateral ties and long-lasting friendship between the two brotherly countries.
The two Prime Ministers held a wide-ranging meeting during which matters pertaining to bilateral ties were discussed.
Pakistan and Qatar have reaffirmed the resolve to comprehensively upgrade bilateral relations in diverse fields including trade, investment, energy, aviation, agricultural, tourism, manpower and people to people contacts reported Radio Pakistan.
The resolve came at a meeting between Prime Minister Imran Khan and his Qatari counterpart Sheikh Abdullah bin Nasser bin Khalifa Al Thani at Doha, where Prime Minister Imran Khan made a stopover on his way back to Pakistan after successful visit to the United States of America.
Prime Minister Imran Khan recalled the recent visit of the Amir of Qatar to Pakistan and thanked Qatar for its economic support. The positive contribution of Pakistani community in Qatar was also lauded.
