According to media reports, a passenger airplane operated by a private airline heading to Peshawar narrowly escaped an accident when its tire burst during landing at Peshawar Airport.
The episode happened when the plane’s tire burst whilst landing at the Peshawar airport and the captain showed great expertize to control and land the plane safely. The plane had taken off from Jeddah airport.
To avoid any further accident, the fire department was immediately contacted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). Thankfully all 200 people onboard the plane were unharmed and no further incident took place.
According to the spokesperson of the airline, the incident happened because the tire burst due to excessive heat during landing.
