Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety Division (PASSD) is going to launch Ehsaas TV Programme and an online portal by the end of this year.
The program will be initiated in December this year in under-developed districts of the country.
A PASSD official revealed this while speaking to Associated Press Pakistan (APP).
The official said that the online portal will contain all the government data which will be easily accessible for all. People will be able to access the required data through ‘District Development Portal,’ he said.
About Ehsas Program
In April this year, Prime Minister Imran Khan realized one of his electoral promises by launching a poverty alleviation drive called Ehsas (care).
The drive aims at collaborating with all the stakeholders — public, private, civil society, philanthropists, and expatriate Pakistanis towards one collective goal – poverty alleviation.
Sehat Insaf Card, Kamyab Jawan Program, Qarz-e-Hasana scheme, and various other initiatives fall under the Ehsas program.
The program aims to change the lives of at least 3.3 million poor people in the next four years through various steps.
