Chinese tech giant Xiaomi is adding yet another affordable device to its ever-growing ecosystem of gadgets and appliances through its crowdfunding platform. This time it’s the Haylou LS01 smartwatch which sports all kinds of fitness trackers and long battery life, all for just $14.
The Haylou LS01 smartwatch features a square-shaped 1.3-inch LCD display with rounded corners. It comes with a 26.3 mm silicone strap which can be replaced anytime with a new one in case it gets damaged. The whole gadget weighs only 34 grams.
The watch is powered by a 210 mAh battery which claims to provide 14 days of battery life on a single charge. The Haylou LS01 is compatible with both iOS and Android devices running Android 4.4/iOS8 or higher.
It comes with an IP68 rating, meaning it can function properly under 1.5 meters of water for up to 30 minutes. It can also function properly under temperatures as low as -20C and as high as 40C.
The watch provides 9 sports modes, real-time heart rate monitoring, scientific sleep management, sports step counting, intelligent notification reminders, and other functions.
As of now, the watch is only available in China for a crowdfunding price of $14. An international release will likely follow in soon.
