New Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Update Improves Camera Quality

Samsung’s promised update to fix the fingerprint sensor problem isn’t out yet. However, the company has decided to roll out another update for the Note 10 series. According to reports, this update improves the image quality of the smartphone, system stability, and the facial recognition function.

The update log states it brings the following changes (depending on the model, service provider and region):

  1. Improve camera photo quality.
  2. A more stable button prompt tone.
  3. Improve facial recognition features.

A regular security patch also accompanied the update.

As for the models in China, the VoLTE HD call settings are enabled by default. Samsung says,

If the telecom card does not support the VoLTE service, contact the operator to open VoLTE.

Fingerprint Sensor Issue

Last week, a serious fingerprint security vulnerability was revealed in Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S10 and Note 10.

While the company has officially acknowledged the embarrassing security flaw, it has also warned users in an official statement saying,

We advise that Galaxy Note10/10+ and S10/S10+/S10 5G users who use such covers to remove the cover, delete all previous fingerprints and newly register their fingerprints. If you currently use front screen protective covers, to ensure optimum fingerprint scanning, please refrain from using this cover until your device has been updated with a new software patch.

The new software patch has been rolled out for the Galaxy Note 10 5G, but the other S10 and Note 10 models still haven’t received it yet.
