Previously ranked at number 7, Pakistan’s ranking has now dropped to 8th.

Pakistan’s new Test series will be against Sri Lanka at home. The Men in Green will play their first Test match on home soil after more than 10 years, which will be a sight to behold.
The selection committee will be under pressure to make some necessary changes to the Test squad, mainly the bowling department.
