Syed Fakhar Ahmed, who is working as Chief Marketing and Communication Officer with K-Electric, is joining Jazz as head of public policy and regulatory affairs, we have confirmed with sources.
Jazz didn’t confirm ProPakistani as there’s no official announcement made on this so far.
Syed Fakhar was working with K-Electric since November 2015 and is credited to have setup the communication department there from scratch. He is also known for transformation of the dept over the years, setting up its functions and particularly introducing the digital channels for public relations.
According to details available with ProPakistani, Syed Fakhar will head Comms, Regulatory Affair and Corporate Comms at Jazz. He will report directly to Aamir Ibrahim, the CEO of the company.
We don’t have any word on Ali Naseer, who was heading Regulatory Affairs at Jazz till now.

We are getting news that Ali Naseer is staying at Jazz for now.
It must be mentioned here that Ali had taken on the additional role of heading Jazz Business earlier this year, that he will continue to head.
Insiders say that Jazz Business and Regulatory functions required dedicated focus, it was imperative to put the right level of resources behind each function.
And that’s how Syed Fakhar will head regulatory affairs while Ali will continue to steer the Jazz Business organization moving forward.
