Oppo to Launch Find X2 in Early 2020

Last year, Oppo launched its notchless Oppo Find X which was a hit with the reviewers. It was the first smartphone to come without a proximity sensor and supported 3D facial recognition.

Consumers were patiently waiting for the flagship’s successor, however, unfortunately, it looks like the BBK-owned OEM completely forgot about it while it was focused on launching Reno series smartphones. However, today, the Chinese company has announced that it is working on a successor for the 2018 flagship.

According to Oppo the smartphone will come with Snapdragon 865 SoC and will have a higher display resolution compared to its predecessor. Find X2 is expected to be a display focused smartphone with better colors, a higher refresh rate, and a wider dynamic range.

Apart from this, the company claims that Find X2 will sport a camera with Sony’s new all pixel omnidirectional PDAF technology. This new technology focuses on both vertical and horizontal details.

Other details are still under wraps but since the smartphone is going to launch in a few months, leaks and rumors will start showing up soon so stay tuned for more updates.
