Samsung Galaxy S20+5G Live Photos Show Underwhelming Design

Samsung’s upcoming series of flagship phones is expected to be revealed next month. The lineup will reportedly include the Galaxy S20, S20 5G, S20+, S20+ 5G, and the S20 Ultra 5G.

The news comes from a renowned insider and writer at XDA developers, who has revealed the names of the 5 phones in the series.

Additionally, Mike has also leaked live images for the Galaxy S20+ 5G, confirming the design we had been seeing in renders for a while.

The display has a centered punch-hole selfie camera and thin bezels around an almost flat display. Samsung is using 2.5D glass in this display, which is what makes it feel like a flat display even though it is slightly curved. This is the same glass used in the Pixel 2 XL.

The right side has a volume rocker and a power button and there is no Bixby button, unlike the S10 series. This change is probably for the better since no one liked using Bixby.

The rear has a rectangular primary camera cutout that we’ve seen before in earlier leaks. It houses a total of 4 camera lenses, 3 of which are aligned vertically and the fourth is placed under the LED flash.

We are currently unaware of what differences the 5 phones will have in terms of specifications. However, Max says that he has more details and a video of the devices coming up soon, so stay tuned.
