5th February is commemorated as Kashmir Day every year to show solidarity with the oppressed people of the Indian-occupied valley.
The day is observed as a national holiday and celebrated throughout the country with slogans of freedom for the Kashmiris.

Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) also observed the day by offering Kashmiri flags to the passengers and special announcements to commemorate the day.

PIA staff made it clear that Pakistanis stand with Kashmiris in their fight for freedom.
PIA also conducted a Kashmir rally on the occasion where a ‘huge number of employees and higher management’ participated and prayed for peace in the valley.

“PIA observed Kashmir Solidarity Day with great zeal to honor Kashmiri brothers and sisters”, the national flag carrier’s Twitter handle wrote.
In a Kashmir Day-related event, Prime Minister Imran Khan has made it clear that India cannot hold the entire Kashmir hostage for long.
The day the curfew is lifted in occupied #Kashmir there will be a sea of people with only one word on their lips: freedom.
