SadaPay has announced the appointment of banking industry veteran Omer Salimullah as Chief Operating Officer.
This appointment is yet another step towards realizing SadaPay’s ambition to become the premier digital wallet in Pakistan and the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC). As the COO, Omer will oversee the day-to-day operations of SadaPay to ensure the highest standards in product, processes and customer experience.
Omer’s strong background as a senior executive in the financial services industry reflects SadaPay’s DNA of both a highly professional financial institution and a fast-growing tech company perfectly. Combined with his strong leadership experience, he is in a prime position to support the company with its aspirations of providing the best digital financial services in Pakistan and the MENA region.

In his role as Head of Open Banking and Ecosystem Development at JS Bank, Omer launched Pakistan’s 1st Open Banking platform. This brought significant agility to the bank and accelerated time-to-market for innovative initiatives.
Previously, he was leading the Alternate Distribution Channels (ADC) department at Meezan Bank Limited (the largest Islamic bank in Pakistan) where he was instrumental in conceptualizing and executing their digital strategy.
Prior to that, he was heading the Customer Experience vertical in ABN AMRO Pakistan.
