Kevin Pietersen Reveals the Most Difficult Bowler Ever Faced, He’s a Pakistani

Former England batsman, Kevin Pietersen has revealed that the most difficult bowler he ever faced was Pakistan seamer, Mohammad Asif.

In a Twitter post, the South African born cricketer said that Asif was the best bowler he faced, saying he had no clue when the Pakistani seamer was bowling.

The 39-year-old said this while sharing a clip of him being bowled out by Asif with an absolute peach of a delivery that came at a perfect length, prompting him to play the ball which swung late to get a fine outside edge to the wicket-keeper.

Pietersen joked that there were plenty of batsmen at that time who were happy to see him banned from cricket. Such was the genius possessed by the right-arm pacer.

Earlier, South African legend, Hashim Amla, also picked Asif as the best bowler he faced in his career.

Mohammad Asif picked up 106 wickets in 23 Test matches at 24.36 before being banned due to the 2010 spot-fixing scandal alongside Salman Butt and Mohammad Amir.
