Pakistan Observes Kashmir Siege Day as Black Day

On 5th August 2019, India violated every single point on human rights charters by declaring illegally occupied Jammu and Kashmir as a federal territory, ending its special status by revoking Article 370.

Kashmir has been cut off from the rest of the world for one year now after the barbaric military siege by the Indian Army. The illegal step was taken by the Modi-led government to change the demographics of the region through ethnic cleansing.

The issue has been highlighted at every stage, however, it hasn’t borne any fruit until now. The day is being observed as a black day in Pakistan and Twitter is full of messages of solidarity for the Kashmiri brothers and sisters whose voices have been muted.
