Minister for Transport also said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government is constantly striving to provide better quality transport facilities to the people at affordable rates.

In previous reports, the government had announced the launch of Orange Line Rapid Transit Service to take place by the end of October 2020. Reportedly, the provincial cabinet was told in a session back in August, that the construction and other technical works on the 25-kilometer long train track had been completed, and that the concerned parties are now working on the necessary final touches to commence the project.

The latest updates are yet to arrive on when the Orange Line Rapid Transit service would become operational for public use, however, with the fares having been decided, the launch of the service is seemingly quite near.
