CAA Denies Issuing Appointment Letters Last Week

Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has distanced itself from the appointment letters issued on its behalf last week. The Aviation Authority said that the letters are fake and have been issued by unauthorized personnel for monetary benefits.

The CAA spokesperson termed it an attempt to deceive individuals and defame the authority, adding that an inquiry has been launched into the matter.

The spokesperson noted that all appointments in the aviation department are advertised through media, and follow a transparent process of written tests and interviews.

The Aviation Authority has also warned all airport managers and human resource officers against entertaining any individual with such letters to avoid embarrassment for the aviation body.

Note that the Civil Aviation Authority had restricted all kinds of recruitments, transfers, and postings on October 10.

The ban was in line with the ongoing bifurcation process of the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA). A notification was also issued in this regard.
