According to the latest wealth data released by the Election Commission of Pakistan about the members of the provincial assemblies (MPAs), the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Mahmood Khan, is the wealthiest among the four chief ministers, with assets worth Rs 2.38 billion to his name.
Mahmood Khan is reportedly currently the richest MPA and owns agricultural property worth Rs. 2.33 billion, has Rs. 40 million cash in hand, and Rs 7.7 million in two bank accounts, but does not own a car.

The second richest MPA in the KP assembly is Bahadur Khan from the Awami National Party, with assets valued at Rs. 894 million and twenty properties worth Rs. 875 million.
PTI MPA Syed Fakhar Jehan has Rs. 776 million worth of assets including shops, agricultural, and non-agricultural land. He also owns a land cruiser and has Rs. 1.5 million in cash.
Sher Azam Khan of the PPP owns assets valued at Rs. 664.63 million, while PTI’s Fazal Hakim Khan has assets worth Rs. 594 million to his name, and the PTI MNA Musawar Khan owns commercial, agricultural, and residential properties worth Rs. 384 million.
From the opposition parties, the Opposition Leader in the KP Assembly, Akram Durrani, as of 2019 owns assets valued at Rs. 7.75 million. The KP Assembly Speaker, Mushtaq Ghani, owns assets worth more than Rs. 50 million, and Ibrahim Khattak (the son of the Federal Defence Minister, Pervez Khattak) owns assets worth Rs. 25.5 million while his uncle Liaquat Khan’s assets are valued at Rs. 180 million.

From Sindh, Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah owns assets worth north of Rs. 230.35 million as per the report released by the ECP.
The Leader of the Opposition in the Sindh Assembly, Firdous Shamim Naqvi of the PTI, has assets worth Rs. 330.40 million, while former president Asif Zardari’s sister Faryal Talpur has assets worth more than Rs. 390 million.
Sindh’s Provincial Education Minister, Saeed Ghani, owns assets worth Rs. 20.31 million, while the Sindh Assembly Speaker, Agha Siraj Durrani’s declared assets for 2019 stand valued at Rs. 100.20 million.
