Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G to Feature Snapdragon 750G And 120Hz Display

The 5G versions of the Redmi Note 9 series are expected to be major upgrades over the original lineup, especially the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G. The Note 9 Pro 5G is rumored to be a rebranded Mi 10T Lite, but with a 108MP camera sensor instead of a 64MP unit.

Camera details for the device were leaked a while ago, and now Redmi’s General Manager Lu Weibing has confirmed that it will be powered by the Snapdragon 750G. The executive did not specifically mention the Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G, but it is clear that he is talking about the device since there is only three days left before its release.

Other expected specifications include a 120Hz LCD with a punch-hole front camera,  a 4,820mAh battery with 33W fast charging, a 3.5mm audio jack, dual speakers, MIUI 12 over Android 10, etc.

As for the camera setup, the latest leak from tipster Digital Chat Station claims that the 108MP main sensor will be accompanied by an ultrawide camera, a telephoto lens, and a macro camera. He says that the specifications for the secondary cameras will not be as good, but the setup will be relatively thin and cheap.

The Redmi Note 9 5G is going to break cover on November 26 in China.
