Official: Samsung Galaxy S21 is Launching on January 14

It is time to put all the rumored launch dates to rest as Samsung has confirmed that the Galaxy S21 is arriving on January 14. The company has confirmed the launch date for its next Unpacked event and has also hinted at the S21 launch through a teaser image.

The image does not clearly mention the S21 or any of the other siblings launching with it, but from the previous leaks, it’s clear to see what Samsung is teasing.

In the image, the Galaxy S21’s camera setup is blurred and held inside a glass cube, but it is unmistakably the S21’s module given how many times we’ve seen it in leaks by now.

The complete lineup is expected to include the Galaxy S21, the S21+, and the S21 Ultra. All of these will be powered by the upcoming 5nm Exynos 2100 SoC or the Snapdragon 888 depending on the region. South Korea and the US typically get the Snapdragon versions while the rest get Exynos models.

All of them will have QHD+ displays with AMOLED panels and a 120Hz refresh rate for smooth usability. As always, these will be one of the best quality displays available in the market. The S21 Ultra will be the only phone in the trio with a 108MP sensor and S Pen support. The other two will have 12MP and 64MP cameras.

We are also expecting to see the Galaxy Buds Pro launch alongside the S21 trio on January 14.
