Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite Could Feature a Periscope Camera and New Qualcomm Chip [Leak]

Xiaomi Mi 11 Pro is not the only new variant joining the Mi 11 family. Rumors have been pointing towards a cheaper model called the Mi 11 Lite that will, as the name says, have a few downgrades in terms of specs.

According to a new report from Chinese media, the Mi 11 Lite will reportedly have an OLED display with a punch-hole camera, a 64MP main camera capable of 5x zoom, and a Qualcomm SM7350 chipset. Rumors suggest that this chipset is the Snapdragon 755G, which hasn’t been announced by Qualcomm yet.

The SD755G is expected to be a 5nm SoC with the ultra-powerful Cortex A78 CPU cores.

The 64MP primary camera is going to be another downgrade from the Mi 11 that features a 108MP sensor the same as last year’s Mi 10. However, the periscope lens is rumored to stay on the Mi 11 Lite. Periscope lenses are expensive components and it will be surprising to see a Lite device featuring one of those.

The leak could be talking about a different phone (Redmi K40 perhaps?), but most hints point towards a possible Mi 11 Lite. In any case, we will likely get to hear more once Xiaomi decides to unveil the Mi 11 Pro and Lite.
